Utilising the high level of skill already within the company, this means that we have a multi-functional work-force that are as proficient with Category 5, 6, and 7 as they are with Light and Power. This ability to use “one” workforce on large projects equates to labour and time savings. Clients benefit from one point of contact and knowing that projects are not being sub-contracted to smaller companies that may not have the resources to perform.

Capabilities

Our impressive list of projects include Data Centre projects such as the NextDC P1 in Malaga, NextDC P2 in East Perth and the Equinix Data Centre project in Shenton park.

We have the skills and equipment in-house for termination and testing of all categories of data cabling, multimode, and singlemode fibre. We specialise in MPO Data Centre Fibre cabling, OTDR and END Face inspections. On top of our hands on skills we are more than qualified to assist in the design of these systems.

Training

Due to the unparalleled exponential growth of the data and technologies industry, we have an active training program, whether it be re-certifying with a manufacturer, attending BICSI meetings, or carrying out in-house training. We are vigilant in keeping up with these industry changes in order to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients, with an emphasis on best practices and best value-for-money.

Certifications

In the world of data installations there can only be a great outcome when a true partnership exists between the Product Manufacturer and the Installation Company. Whilst it is common for contractors to be certified in one or two product lines, Everett Smith & Co has been certified by all major manufacturers of data cabling systems in Australia. This is testament to the respect and reputation Everett Smith & Co have earned over decades in the industry.

Being educated and certified in all of these systems enables us to support clients in making the right choice of system, identifying and utilising systems that have the “best fit” for their particular project.
